Auf Schloss Windsor begann die Beisetzungs-Feier von Prinz Philip mit einem Trauermarsch. Der Sarg mit den sterblichen Überresten des Ehemanns von Queen Elizabeth II. wurde von Soldaten aus der Residenz getragen. Enge Verwandte des Prinzgemahls folgten dem Sarg, darunter seine vier Kinder sowie seine Enkel Prinz William und Prinz Harry. Am Gottesdienst in der St. Georgs-Kapelle nahm wegen der Corona-Pandemie nur ein ausgewählter Kreis von 30 Gästen teil.Der Sarg wurde mit einem Land Rover Defender TD5 vom Schloss zur Kapelle gebracht.
