Am 29. Januar 1886 reichte Carl Friedrich Benz im Berliner Patentamt sein "Fahrzeug mit Gasmotorenbetrieb" unter der Patentnummer 37435 ein. Ein großer Schritt für das Auto, das sich über die Jahrzente zu dem entwickelt hat, wie wir es heute kennen.
